L'Envol

Created by lighting designers Luminariste, this project won the Arts et Jardin competition of the Constellations festival in Metz. Set near the lock-keeper's house, it is an anamorphosis of a bird taking flight above the water. It is a floating structure that ripples with the movements of the air and water, the result of a careful balance between the weight of the anodised aluminium feathers and the buoyancy of the acacia joists.
